The main celebration will be led by our Middle School teachers Ms. Ito & Mr. Buck will cover essential topics related to puberty, including physical changes, emotional development, healthy eating, and hygiene. Presenters will address common concerns and questions that arise during adolescence, fostering a supportive and informative environment for all attendees. Dr. Tran-Kim will also be present to answer any medical related questions.
  • Breakout Sessions:

    • Understanding Male Puberty: Led by our very own middle school teacher Mr. Buck this breakout session will delve deeper into the specific aspects of male puberty, including physical changes, hormonal shifts, emotional challenges, and healthy coping strategies. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their experiences in a supportive environment.

    • Understanding Female Puberty: Similarly, this breakout session led by our middle school teacher Ms. Ito will focus on the unique experiences and changes associated with female puberty, addressing topics such as menstruation, breast development, body image, and self-care practices. Attendees can engage in discussions, receive accurate information, and explore ways to navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence.

By offering combined puberty talks along with gender-specific breakout sessions, the seminar promotes inclusivity, education, and support for individuals of all gender identities. It encourages open dialogue, mutual respect, and understanding, ultimately empowering adolescents to embrace their identities and navigate puberty with knowledge and confidence.

Dinner available from 6:00-6:30 p.m. and the talk will commence from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
