PUMA RUN CLUB

We are excited to announce the Puma Run Club will be starting a 13 week run program starting Friday January 26th until May 10th.  By the end of the 13 week program, each student will have accumulated the equivalent of 25.2 miles through various games and activities They will finish their “marathon” by participating in the optional Kids Run the OCMarathon 1-Mile Run on May 4, 2024 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA for $29 (Scholarships available through OC Runs Club and the PTSA Scholarship Program). There is no fee to participate in the Puma Run Club on Fridays. 

Dates for the run club will be Jan 26th, Feb 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 12th, 19th, 26th with the optional May 4th OC run and May 10th for the last practice/celebration. 

Pumas that are PK thru 3rd grade will need parents to stay at each practice whereas 4th grader or above can be "dropped off" Friday mornings. If your Pumas will participate in the Kids Run OC on May 4th, students will require the parents to be present at the mile run. We are looking for some volunteers to be part of this Run Club and assist with the Kids Run OC. This Run Club will not be possible to continue without our parent volunteers.
